if one shall continue to follow the cycles in life that leads us down familiar roads in which we’ve traveled before, i’d like to be equipped with the knowledge to correct those glitches in the program. let’s put an end to the madness before it has a chance to breathe life into the hearts, minds & unsuspecting souls that will take on it’s disagreeable energy. even the strongest can be tested in these perilous times as well as blinded by life’s grand design to fulfill multiple desires without thought of it’s consequences.

we are in an age of responsibility however a few can’t shake it and simply refuse to take it! then there are those who answer the call and step up to the plate to hit home runs becoming the example for others in need.

we are the forgotten since we’ve been silent for so long, no words just empty promises in the form of song.
music carries vibration, tone and resonance that can either uplift you to the highest of highs or break us down to the lowest of levels. discern which is more beneficial to your soul’s rising.

I’ve seen petty statements that have asked why wasn’t Bobby Brown taken and not Whitney? These statements are ignorant to say the least however she is gone too soon & we shouldn’t be so quick to throw Bobby under the bus. We must remember to uplift each other while we are present and not limit it to death. We must also remember to not gossip so much about things we don’t understand or know to be fact. I’ve done my best to not speculate however I see common links here that I’ve noticed in a few other high profile deaths.

This is not the time nor place as I only wish to uplift Whitney in the most proper way!

Ase sister Whitney you are among the greats now and we cherish you!

jeesh! almost forgot where i was going with this… i said all that to say that i’ve really come to the conclusion that i have to start writing again before my brain goes on overload. once a thing becomes so overly saturated with crap i tend to take a step back enough to figure out how to reinvent myself or a thing. photography is another area of interest that i’ve had to put down because i no longer own a camera, yet i’m glad i’ve taken this break because there are enough people in cyber/ville posting pictures to last 20 generations to come!

i’m also working hard to not post any political matters via this site because it is supposed to be about my music and other creative endeavors but i will admit politrix is part of who i am. a Moor, standing strong sometimes on my own doing mE!

spending years masking the pretense under false circumstances
might invoke a better opportunity to encounter the matter from a new angle.

deep- into the matter of things.
a blink @ what i’m up to.

what a productive day looks like in my world of music. i finally figured out how to properly record my screen using iSHowU. i’m saying properly because i’ve been trying for a long time to figure out how to capture my screen and record my voice. it took some serious setting up in order to function with Soundflower, Mbox and AudioHiJack. this video is a result of that struggle to achieve greatness in producing quality videos of my damn screen!

ok, i’m sure i should talk a little about the music inside the video and not just the technical aspect of setting up. all of the songs played during the video are still in production with the exception of Tale of the Sowa. i’ve only included a chorus to one of the tracks because the verse hasn’t been written. i have a weird way of writing songs as i construct a track. whatever works right? i’m tutoring myself with the help of Linda.com on how to mix vocals and let me tell you it’s not easy. these are the results of my re/clusiveness and lack of concern with the latest parties. there’s a party in my home and it’s called my DAW of choice of which happens to be Ableton. kick back, let me have 7 minutes of your time to tune your soul into my mind/mine.

this really makes me question the relevancy of having a website.

couldn’t think of a better way of expressing my feelings
of the loss of another talent, Amy Winehouse,
who transitioned today July 23, 2011 at the
age of 27. Amy you will be missed among those
who truly appreciated your unique voice and
contribution to soul music. UK soul, R&B whatever
it’s all relative and pretty much from the soul.

what sucks the most is never getting to see a
bird fly and set out on it’s own path. i don’t want to
speculate on her death at all just give praise to that
part of herself she was willing to share with the world.
there have been hints around the grand ole internet
of Amy now being member of the infamous “27 Club“.
death is a friend we will all become acquainted with
but for now let’s uplift those who have passed on.

may she rise in power & peace.
