it’s been a long time coming!

the last few months i’ve been deep in production mode working on a upcoming project entitled “Of Unknown Origin” featuring Ka Sekhem and Nekaybaaw. i’ve always wanted to work with an mc & i’m truly picky when it comes to my music, so it has been an adventure finding someone i truly could mesh well with creatively. let’s face the facts the state of artistry/creativity has severely changed since my hey day during the early 90′s. back then i looked forward to rocking stages and recording new music for the sheer love of sound & it’s potential to speak to my every mood. over the years we mature in thoughts and hopefully actions as I often reflect on who I was in 1992 when i had the awesome opportunity to record background vocals for a friend who later became a group mate. this would become my introduction to professional studio recording, writing, singing and performing.

i’ve always had the desire to immerse myself within the many facets of music ever since i began playing the piano as a young child at the age of 7 til the age of 15. i was never fond of structure better yet anything that i perceived would limit me or box me in. i began to rebel against playing the piano because i didn’t want to sit up straight nor hold my fingers in a certain way plus, the piano got an L because you couldn’t play it & be in the marching band. go figure! in all honesty i didn’t respect the early foundations i was given by learning to play the piano and I didn’t innerstand until i became an adult. today I am thankful for ALL the knowledge i’ve gained because all of those lessons humbled me to moments such as these.

the 10 year album…

really? yes for real! it has taken me a while to release music to the world that i felt proud of or comfortable with. people would always ask or try to get me to release music throughout the years but i’d always say i wasn’t ready. being “ready” to me means confident in my sound, understanding the message i’m conveying and being able to pass that message along to others in hopes that like minds feel it and become inspired. so many have rushed their creativity to only provide the planet with premature messages of mixed emotional mind states that help none and only hurt.

my music is none of that and all of ethereal, 7th chakra & higher, binaural stimulatation that will definitely uplift the spirit to higher realms. these tune/tones are spiritual healing sound treatments here to assist the humane in changing their frequencies. those on a lower plane will not disturb this groove as it comes from within. it is my duty to uplift humanity and MUSIC is my 1st weapon of choice!

if one shall continue to follow the cycles in life that leads us down familiar roads in which we’ve traveled before, i’d like to be equipped with the knowledge to correct those glitches in the program. let’s put an end to the madness before it has a chance to breathe life into the hearts, minds & unsuspecting souls that will take on it’s disagreeable energy. even the strongest can be tested in these perilous times as well as blinded by life’s grand design to fulfill multiple desires without thought of it’s consequences.

we are in an age of responsibility however a few can’t shake it and simply refuse to take it! then there are those who answer the call and step up to the plate to hit home runs becoming the example for others in need.

we are the forgotten since we’ve been silent for so long, no words just empty promises in the form of song.
music carries vibration, tone and resonance that can either uplift you to the highest of highs or break us down to the lowest of levels. discern which is more beneficial to your soul’s rising.

be inspired!

I’ve seen petty statements that have asked why wasn’t Bobby Brown taken and not Whitney? These statements are ignorant to say the least however she is gone too soon & we shouldn’t be so quick to throw Bobby under the bus. We must remember to uplift each other while we are present and not limit it to death. We must also remember to not gossip so much about things we don’t understand or know to be fact. I’ve done my best to not speculate however I see common links here that I’ve noticed in a few other high profile deaths.

This is not the time nor place as I only wish to uplift Whitney in the most proper way!

Ase sister Whitney you are among the greats now and we cherish you!

jeesh! almost forgot where i was going with this… i said all that to say that i’ve really come to the conclusion that i have to start writing again before my brain goes on overload. once a thing becomes so overly saturated with crap i tend to take a step back enough to figure out how to reinvent myself or a thing. photography is another area of interest that i’ve had to put down because i no longer own a camera, yet i’m glad i’ve taken this break because there are enough people in cyber/ville posting pictures to last 20 generations to come!

i’m also working hard to not post any political matters via this site because it is supposed to be about my music and other creative endeavors but i will admit politrix is part of who i am. a Moor, standing strong sometimes on my own doing mE!
